"Catherine Hunt Nursing Home Advocacy Award" is given yearly in her
name (Michigan). The idea of a "Standardized Nursing Home Complaint
Form" was founded by her niece due to issues surrounding her care. The
idea has been made a part of S.4621 (Nursing Home Advocacy and
Improvement Act of 2008), and was made law in Michigan (2003).
