2- Delaware RR Week Activities
The Delaware Council of Activity Professionals in partnership with the Delaware Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is planning their 3rd Annual Residents' Rights Rally - "Spotlight on Quality: Focus on Residents' Rights." This year's rally is planned around a USO show format that will go right along with the NCCNHR theme! They hope to have a biodegradable red, white & blue balloon lift off with a resident's right in each one as a way to spread residents' rights across the country. They will have a color/honor guard at the rally made up of residents who are veterans to be escorted by military in uniform. Sitting elected officials and residents will be permitted to speak about residents' rights. No campaigning will be allowed!
