The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently releases its Nursing Home Data Compendium 2009.  The compendium contains figures and tables presenting data on residents of Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes; it also included a series of graphs and maps, which highlights some of the most interesting data. Detailed data is available in accompanying tables. There are also select graphs that present 10 years of data. The tables and figures were compiled from CMS survey and certification administrative data and nursing home clinical data contained in the Minimum Data Set.
